Created with the House’s Core Values & Aesthetic, Hermès Beauty Launches Four Ranges In India https://ift.tt/Snask12

It’s a whole different world of beauty when a coveted global luxury brand, Hermès, forays into it. The house of luxury that gave us cult-favourite the Birkin bag and Oran sandals introduced Hermès Beauty, its sixteenth métier, in 2020. Saturated pigments, luxurious textures, the ‘objects’, as the house terms the products, are meant for an experience and as Gregoris Pyrpylis, creative director of Hermès Beauty explains, it is all about “elegance, fantasy, and aimed to enhance natural beauty.”

Hermès Beauty launched with Rouge Hermès featuring 24 shades inspired by leather and silk, nearly 70 years after the house’s first fragrance. While the work on Hermès Beauty initiated in 2015, the brand is known to invest time for creative decisions and their development. Pierre Hardy, creative director of Hermès shoes and jewellery, designs the Hermès Beauty objects, which are surmounted with the Hermès ex-libris. Christine Nagel, the house’s perfumer, composes the fragrance for each of its collections. In 2022, they were joined by Pyrpylis, who contributes his expertise in colours, textures and gestures.

Nearly after three years of its presence in the global market, Hermès Beauty is finally in India its four prominent ranges – Rouge Hermès, Rose Hermès, Les Mains Hermès and Hermès Plein Air. Hermès Beauty is currently retailing at the newly launch Delhi store in Chanakyapuri but can be ordered pan India by placing the order with either of the stores (Mumabi and Delhi). Here is what to expect:

Rouge Hermès

Hermès

Imaginative and elegant, the hues of 24 lipsticks under the range are inspired by the infinitely rich colour references of the métiers of silk (75,000 shades), and leather (900 shades). Expect paintbrush pigment delivered in one stroke and packed in a bullet packaging that’s refillable. Available in two finishes, the matte one comes with a pointed tip to ace precision whereas the satin finish has oval tip for full coverage. The range also comprises other objects – lip care balm, Poppy lip gloss, a universal lip pencil, and a lip brush – that completes the lip ritual.

Rose Hermès

Hermès

With 11 shades of silky blush inspired by the dawn dew and warm sand, Rose Hermès exudes radiance and fresh glow. Other objects under Rose Hermès comprises two brushes and four lip enhancers that reflect light while hydrating the lips. The velvy finish of silk blushes deliver a fine powder tint to the cheeks in a swipe.

Les Mains Hermès

Hermès

A complete hand care with rich hand cream, a nourishing oil for nails and cuticles, a base coat, 24 shades of nail enamels, and a set of nail files, Les Mains Hermès is about colour and care. If you must splurge, the hand cream is made with 98% natural-origin ingredients. Rich texture, lingering fragrance, and quick-absorbing, this one must take a place in your luxe beauty routine.

Hermès Plein Air

Hermès

Hermès Plein Air looks at complexion with a unique perspective. One of the most sought-after offering from Hermès Beauty, Hermès Plein Air is a complexion balm that fits perfectly between foundation and tinted moisturiser. With SPF 30/ PA+++, Hermès Plein Air lets the skin breathe without masking it. The complexion enhancing balm is available in 12 shades and as Pyrpylis explains, “there are many skincare benefits in the formula, especially the hyaluronic acid which not only makes it hydrating but also long-lasting. It also comes with a couple of anti-oxidants in it.”
